General
Online bank direct debit subscription
The bank direct debit form can now be filled and signed online for UpperBee Pay clients.
Once the fields are filled by the resident, they will receive an e-mail to sign the document online.
The board or property managers will receive an alert that a recurring bank direct debit is currently awaiting approval.
To ensure the correctness of the information, the banking information will need to be entered manually by the approving body.
$1.49 electronic signature fees are applied.
Restricted fund accounting for Condo portals
UpperBee is officially supporting a restricted fund method of accounting for Condo portals on top of the deferral method.
Why choose this method?
• Flexibility: Managers can now choose between two approved methods.
• Efficiency: This method offers a precise view of the revenues and expenses for all funds, making it easier to manage your budget.
• Used by experts: a vast majority of accounting professionals use this method when preparing verified or audited financial statements.
As of the update, this method is offered to the new UpperBee Condo clients and recent UpperBee Manager licensees. Current licensees will be able to use it in a future update, and the development team is currently working on a transition functionality for the properties looking to use this method moving forward.
Improvements to access roles and permissions
The presentation of the permissions in the access roles management has been reviewed to further clarify the relevance of the roles, if they are applicable in a property or manager portal (Manager only), and to remove certain obsolete permissions. A search filter was also added.
Messaging groups added
You can now create custom sending groups for messages in the properties. The recipient selection in the messages has been simplified into a drop-down menu with the ability to select one or multiple groups or individuals.
You can also add documents from the document library as attachments to the messages sent.
UpperBee Condo
New field to the water heater registry
You can now indicate if the unit has no water heater.
Improvement to the forum
Discussions and replies can be ordered from most recent to most ancient and vice versa.
UpperBee Rental
New report added
A billed rents report has been added in the Rent billing section of the portal.
