New Features
Security Deposit Management for Reservations ( Beta )
Beta release for specific clients:
We’ve introduced a new Security Deposit feature designed to simplify how property managers handle deposits associated with reservations. This enhancement provides full control, transparency, and flexibility when collecting and returning security deposits.
Security Deposit Setup
Property managers can now define a security deposit amount directly within the reservation workflow. This deposit can be configured per reservation type or manually adjusted as needed. This feature can be turned on existing reservation listings.
Automated or Manual Deposit Returns
You now have two options for processing security deposit refunds:
- Automatic Return
The system can automatically release and return the security deposit once the reservation is completed and all conditions are met. - Manual Return
Property managers can manually review and process the deposit return, offering flexibility for cases where inspections or verifications are required.
Full Transaction Visibility
Each security deposit now includes:
- The initial deposit amount
- Return status (Pending, Released, Partially Refunded, Refunded)
- Method of return (Automatic or Manual)
- Timestamped history for all actions related to the deposit

Configure the First Rent Amount for Partial-Month Move-Ins/Outs ( Beta )
We have added a new configuration option that makes it easier to set the initial rent payment when a tenant moves in partway through the month. Property managers can now define the prorated rent amount directly during the lease setup process, ensuring accurate billing and fewer manual adjustments.
Key Improvements
- Prorated First Rent:
When a resident’s lease begins mid-month, the system now allows you to set the exact amount they should be charged for the first payment. - Clear Payment Schedule:
Once the prorated amount is set, the full recurring rent amount will begin automatically on the next billing cycle (typically the 1st of the following month).

Improvements
Enhanced Property Preview for Company Managers
Company Managers with View All Properties permissions can now seamlessly preview full property details without switching profiles. As you navigate between properties, you will now see:
Complete property information displayed instantly without needing to “enter” each property
Enhanced filtering options to quickly locate and review specific properties
A smoother workflow when validating, auditing, or comparing property data
This improvement streamlines daily operations for managers overseeing multiple properties and allows faster access to critical information.

Enhanced Invoice Cancellation Workflow
We have improved the invoice cancellation process to ensure clearer communication and more accurate record-keeping.
What’s Changing
Current Behavior
When canceling an invoice, users are prompted with a confirmation message and an optional text box to enter a reason. Providing a reason is not required to complete the cancellation.
New Behavior (Future State)
The cancellation workflow now includes the following enhancements:
Mandatory Reason for Cancellation
The text box is now a required field. Users must provide a reason before submitting the cancellation.Additional Information Included
The text box will now display extra contextual information to help users document the reason more accurately.

Find A Pro Search Now Automatically Hides on Smaller Screens
To improve the mobile and small-screen experience, the Find A Pro search bar will now automatically hide when the screen size is below a certain width.
This update provides:
Cleaner, less cluttered layout on phones and tablets
Improved navigation, allowing users to focus on content and results
Adaptive design, ensuring the search bar remains visible only when there is enough screen space
