Here is the list of updates and new features coming on March 25th, 2025.

General

Improvements to the reservation calendar

Visual improvements

To better organize the massive amount of information in this page, the visual presentation has been revamped to better present them. 

Periods added

There can be more than one reservation period in the same day.

Billing per period/day

It is now possible to bill reservations per period (i.e. hourly) or per reservation.

Variable fees and rates

Fees and rates can now vary according to the period.

Special dates

Personalized dates allow you to block reservations or charge a different rate during certain times, for example during Holidays.

Other improvements

  • Bonified icon library
  • Possibility to book for more than 24h at a time (for guest suites, for example)

Access roles added

The ability to edit the payment info of a supplier is now available as its own permission.

Bank direct debit notification

A notification is sent to a resident whenever a one-time bank direct debit is created for their account.

Note: When multiple residents with different accounts are added in a single bank direct debit, the residents will be notified regarding their individual transactions. However, we strongly discourage adding multiple people in a single direct debit as it can create other problems when managing NSFs for example.

Messaging: more info visible regarding the recipients

The language of correspondence of a resident is now displayed when selecting them as the recipient of a message.

Shortcut added for phone calls

IP phone or softphone users can now use a shortcut to make calls from the app. The shortcut will redirect them into their phone app to make the call.

Registration process on a new screen

From the resident registry (condo) or leases registry (rental), sending the registration process will no longer open a pop-up, but redirect you into a new webpage to do the process.

Visual indications added to invoices

A notification is now visible on the invoice’s status if there is a note in the invoice.

Improvements to the visibility of the resident notifications

The notifications are now position in the top-right corner, in the main menu bar.

New dashboard widgets

Document reception statistics can be displayed on the dashboard.

Visual improvement to the advanced billing elements

The advanced billing elements dashboard has been simplified and reconfigured. You can still access the previous version under “Actions”. 

Display of an invoice status under “Invoice Approval”

If an invoice is under investigation/dispute or rejected, the status is displayed above the options.

Check slip: addition of the fund Number

To add an indication of the fund o which an expense is tied, this information is now displayed on printed checks.

UpperBee Condo

Unit registry: base total shares can be modified

The system allows to edit the base total shares when the total is not 100%. This approach will provide more flexibility in other jurisdictions and avoid calculations when the total shares is not 100% (common occurrence in older declarations of co-ownership).

Multiple entries in the parcel management registry

The parcel management registry now allows to document multiple parcels at once and notify the recipients in one sitting.

Declaration of occupancy: add multiple documents

It is now possible to add multiple documents at once when creating an occupancy for a unit.

Managing non-owner board members

If a board member is listed as an owner with no units, you can archive their resident profile at the end of their mandate.

Occupant registry: type of occupancy added to the list

The type of occupancy (tenant, family member, vacant, etc) is displayed in the advanced occupant registry.

UpperBee Rental

Lease registry: rent evolution graphic added to the lease

A graphic showing the monthly variance of the lease has been added to the tenant’s lease, in their invoicing section.

Unit registry: Summary added

The summary of units and rented/vacant unit sis available through the units registry.

Upcoming functionalities

Sales tax

The team is currently working on the sales tax functionality. This feature will give the option to charge taxes with the revenues, calculate them into the invoices, and make a distinction between the portion that can be claimed, and which one cannot.

For each building, different taxes can be configured and you can also indicate which portions are recoverable.

Taxes can then be applied on invoices.

Il will also be possible to indicate which units are eligible for certain taxes.
