New Financial Reports: Journal and General Ledger
General Ledger
Breaking change: The export of all transactions by account, which was previously accessible in the Accounting menu under "Transactions by Account (All)", is now available from this new General Ledger page.
Purpose: This report displays, for all accounts, all debit and credit transactions that occurred in each account over a specified date range.
Journal Report
Change: This report will only be available for newly created properties and will not be available to existing clients. Existing clients who wish to obtain this report can email support@upperbee.com to request its activation. An accounting data migration must be performed before this report can be enabled.
Purpose: This report is intended to display a journal of transactions and show the entire sequence of transactions that occurred in the accounting system. Once the journal feature is enabled, you will also notice that the Journal ID will appear in the account details, as well as in the General Ledger report and export.
Fiscal Year Selector
We introduced in these two new reports a new fiscal year selector.
